MacBooks – MacBook Pro or MacBook Air, they tend to crash especially if you have Microsoft products installed. The microsoft products either Microsoft VM or Microsoft software installed in your Mac tend to crash your OSX.
If you are using Crome or Flash, they seemed to have adverse effect on power consumption of the computer. If you happened to open a Flash based application such as browser and watching videos, and you forgot to close the application, that will drain the batter and shut your computer down. However, since Crome and Flash is power hungry, they you try to reboot, the computer tend to crash.
The only way to recover from such crash is to reinstall the last or latest version of OSX. What I found is that apple has made this easy. Only Guines bar guys knows about it well. Thus, there are commands and pointers that you can resent your computer and ask it to boot from last good OS or reinstall to the latest. Since, this is data heavy activity, it is better to hook up your computer with a cable to the internet as the WiFi will take sometime.
During recovery install, you will see blue screen. It may stay there for a while. Let it doe it over night. Then you can turn off the computer and turn on. Most of the cases this works. In some cases you have to start from the beginning.
Just a reminder, this is long laborious process where you need to let the computer choose it’s destiny. You may have to to reset and install recovery few times to get it working. It took me 3 days to get it working.
