Java applet is not supported plugin in new enhanced security of Web as well as Mac OS X. The applets are not supported by most of the browsers. However, we have so many application that runs on applet. Specially, we use applet based browser application for remote logins.
One work around is to use older browser. Following is Firefox browser download Lin.
